This year long course is two periods per day. Students will gain supervised, off-campus work experience 2-3 days per week, which includes opportunities to learn and practice communication, interpersonal and task specific skills. When on campus, they focus on career planning including job interest inventories, resume and cover letter writing and job search. In addition, this course focuses on presentation skills, self awareness (i.e. LD research and understanding), community resources and more. Students will practice and use their transition and pre-employability skills at Hill Top and in the local community.
